What happens to your recycling?

Oxfordshire residents are among the very best in the country at recycling, with 59% of all waste now being reused or recycled. But how many people actually know what happens to the materials once they’ve been put outside for collection crews?

Oxfordshire County Council has just published information on where the recyclable materials collected by our local councils end up. The comprehensive list sets out the end destinations of Oxfordshire’s recycling and providing greater transparency on what happens to the county’s recyclable waste after it leaves your doorstep.
