Donating unwanted items

There are many ways to reuse unwanted items, by donating to charity shops or using an online exchange website such as:

Unwanted furniture, electrical items and bikes can be donated for repair or upcycling to Bicester Green. You can also attend one of their workshops to learn basic DIY, how to repair your bike or get creative and upcycle old furniture. 

Emmaus are an international homeless charity who offer a home and meaningful work to people who have experienced homelessness. They collect unwanted furniture from anywhere in Oxfordshire for sale in their shops on the Northway estate and in Cowley.

Sobell House provides specialist palliative care to patients and their families in Oxfordshire. They have eight charity shops around the county, and accept good quality furniture and electrical items.

Orinoco is a scrapstore in Oxford that sells scrap items for art, play and creative projects, new art materials, household paint and a range of DIY materials.
